Katt Williams Claims Wanda Smith's Husband Pulled Gun On Him
After Katt Williams‘ roast of Atlanta radio show host Wanda Smith went viral, the Emmy Award-winning comedian claimed that Smith’s husband pulled a gun on him for the comments.
According to the Atlanta Journal- Constitution, Williams reportedly told police that LaMorris Sellers chased him into a supermarket with a gun. Sellers says that while he did chase the comedian into a store, he didn’t point a gun at him; he says that the gun merely “fell out.”
During an interview with V-103 FM’s Frank And Wanda In The Morning, Williams poked fun at Smith’s hair, weight and cooking skills. She alleges that he waited for her outside of a comedy club in Atlanta, and threatened her in front of her husband.
“He said, ‘I told you f**king with me would make you go viral,'” Smith said Monday (Sept. 17) in regard to the verbal jabs. “ I am not playing victim. I am not a jokester like that. I don’t know how to do that. He did it. He won. It threw me off.” The radio show host was unable to comment any further on the alleged altercation because of legal reasons.
Elsewhere in the interview, Williams criticized Tiffany Haddish, which garnered a “Donkey Of The Day” title from Charlamagne Tha God.
