Kristen Bell
Kristen Bell is a 38-year-old actress out of Huntington Woods, Michigan. Her big break came back in 2004 when she landed the lead role in the hit television series Veronica Mars. She has also starred in hit films like Forgetting Sarah Marshall and is the voice of Princess Anna in Disney’s Frozen film franchise.
Bell is hardly a Johnny-come-lately to the vegetarian scene. In fact, the New York University grad hasn’t eaten meat since she was 11 years of age. The actress and her husband (actor Dax Shepherd) were even vegans for a short period after watching Fork Over Knives; a documentary that inspired a lot of folks to change their diets.
Ariana Grande
At just 26 years of age, Boca Raton, Florida’s Ariana Grande is already a Grammy Award-winning singer who has sold millions of albums worldwide. “Side To Side,” “Love Me Harder,” and “Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” are just a few of the many hits she is responsible for. The singer is also an activist who has been vocal about an array of issues.
Grande claims that she’s never been a big fan of meat. However, it wasn’t until 2013 that she decided to give it up altogether and officially become a vegan. She’s a self-proclaimed animal lover, which is one of the reasons she decided to stop eating meat.
Liam Hemsworth
Liam Hemsworth is a 29-year-old actor who was born in Melbourne, Victora, Australia. He’s been in films like Independence Day: Resurgence and The Last Song. That being said, he is arguably best known for his portrayal of Gale Hawthorne in the Hunger Games series. He is the husband of singer Miley Cyrus and has two brothers, Luke and Chris, who are both successful actors in their own right.
Health concerns, combined with a love for animals, led to the actor adopting the vegan lifestyle. He feels the diet also helps give him an extra boost energy-wise. For those who may be wondering, Miley Cyrus is also a vegan.
Woody Harrelson
57-year-old actor Woody Harrelson became a star in the mid-1980s while playing the role of Woody Boyd on the popular television show Cheers. Since that time he has gone on to star in several hit films including White Men Can’t Jump, Natural Born Killers, and Solo: A Star Wars Story. Over the course of his career, the Midland, Texas native has been nominated for a total of three Academy Awards.
Harrelson is a vegan who usually prefers his meals raw. He credits the diet with giving him additional energy throughout the day and also claims to have his very own vegan beer garden.
Alicia Silverstone
San Francisco, California’s Alicia Silverstone is both an actress and an activist. She became a teen star in the '90s after appearing in the Aerosmith video for their hit song “Cryin.” She would go on to star in films like Clueless and portray Bat Girl in the 1997 flick Batman & Robin.
Silverstone was a vegan long before it was cool. In fact, she began the diet in 1997. She is also an advocate for People for the Technical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and has appeared in several advertisements for the group. She even published her own vegan cookbook called The Kind Diet.
Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan is a professional wrestler who originally hails from Aberdeen, Washington. The 38-year-old grappler first signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) back in 2009. He has gone on to have an amazing career with the company having captured the World Heavyweight Championship on four separate occasions. At the height of his popularity, Bryan even headlined WrestleMania. The WWE superstar also happened to be married to another famous wrestler (and reality star) Brie Bella.
